Warren pleads guilty to lesser charge, sentenced to supervision

GREENVILLE—One man pleaded guilty in Darke County Common Pleas Court on Tuesday morning. Judge Jonathan P. Hein presided.

Gary E. Warren, 45, of Versailles, pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. As a part of the plea, the original indictment of one count of illegal conveyance of drugs onto grounds of a detention facility, a fourth-degree felony, was amended.

He was sentenced to 5 days in jail with 5 days credit, community control sanctions for a period of up to 60 months and is required to pay a restitution of $195.
