Ward sentenced to 15 months for domestic violence

GREENVILLE— One man pleaded guilty and was sentenced in Darke County Common Pleas Court on Tuesday morning. Judge Jonathan P. Hein presided.

Bryan M. Ward, 33, of Englewood, pleaded guilty to one count of domestic violence, a third-degree felony, via Zoom call from the Loraine Correctional Institute. As a part of the plea, the state dismissed count two of violating a protection order, a third-degree felony.

He was sentenced to 15 months in the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections, with a mandatory post-release supervision period of minimum one year, maximum three years.
