Two plead guilty in common pleas court

Two people entered a change of plea in Darke County Common Pleas Court on Tuesday morning. Judge Jonathan P. Hein presided.

Matthew J. Hall, 35, of Greenville, pleaded guilty via Zoom call from the Midwest Treatment Facility to one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. He faces up to 12 months incarceration and a maximum fine of $2,500, none of which is mandatory. He will be sentenced on Thursday, Dec. 23.

Ty E. Howell, 28, of Greenville, pleaded guilty via Zoom call from the Darke County Jail to one count of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony. He was sentenced to 18 days in jail with 18 days credit and $115 restitution.
