Tri-Village to Celebrate Homecoming Week

NEW MADISON – Tri-Village is celebrating Homecoming with events planned all week long to include the crowning of a King and Queen Friday October 1st at the football game verses Arcanum and will conclude Saturday with their Homecoming dance.

This year’s senior court includes girls Chloe Godown, Isabela Ramirez, Grace Lipps, Reece Arnett, Delanee Gray and boys Preston Broyles, Josh Scantland, Ty Linkous, Layne Sarver and Jason Hale.

Events for Homecoming week are listed below.

Mon., Sept. 27
Clash of the Classes – 7pm Football Field
Wear Class shirts (JH – neon)

Tues., Sept. 28
Seashore Day – Watch the volleyball game at FM
(wear hawaiian/beach apparel)

Wed., Sept. 29 Powder Puff – 7pm Football Field
Wacky Wednesday
(dress backwards and mix match)

Thurs., Sept. 30
Parade – 7pm Main St
Adventure Awaits Day 
(dress like a tourist)

Fri., Oct. 1 
Crowning – 6:00pm Football Field
Patriot Day
(wear red, white, blue)

Sat., Oct. 2
Homecoming Dance 
8-11 pm (elementary gym)
$10 single/$15 couple 

All outfits must abide by school rules!!!!!

Dale Barger is a lifelong sports enthusiast and has covered high school athletics for nearly 20 years in Southwest Ohio and now becomes sports editor for Darke County now. For 18 years Dale has been a sportswriter for The Daily Advocate and has been published in online sorts magazines and conference websites. Dale is also an accomplished photographer who has captured thousands of athletes in action over the years. Dale is a member of The Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association and was a 2019 recipient of the Ohio High School Athletic Association Southwest District Media Service Award. Dale lives on a 72-acre farm outside of New Madison, Ohio and is married to Rita Ann (Fourman) Barger and together they have two sons and three grandkids. If you don’t see Dale at a sporting event you might catch him following his other passion – photographing nature and wildlife.
