Three sentenced in common pleas court

Two people were sentenced in Darke County Common Pleas Court on Thursday afternoon. Judge Jonathan P. Hein presided.

Ryan A. Partin, 33, of Union City, was sentenced to 126 days in jail with 126 days credit and up to 60 months of community control sanctions for one count of failure to provide notice of a change of address, a first-degree felony. Partin previously served time in Kentucky for one count of rape and one count of sodomy, both first-degree felonies, and is a registered sex offender.

Casey E. Bowman, 32, of New Weston, was sentenced via Zoom call from the Darke County Jail to an additional 28 days in jail for one count of breaking and entering, a fourth degree-felony. He’s previously served 100 days in jail.

Dwight L. Karnehm, 44, of Greenville, was sentenced to up to 60 months of community control sanctions for one count of receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony. Should he fail to report he faces 40 days in jail.
