Greenville girls drop close 1-0 MVL soccer match to Lady Indians

GREENVILLE – The Greenville Lady Wave soccer team dropped a 1-0 MVL match to the visiting Stebbins Lady Indians in Wednesday night play at Harmon Field.

“Every game you have the opportunity to learn and get better for the next game,” said Greenville coach, Dave Ernst. “Tonight, we did not play as well as we could have and we need to bring the same intensity every game. We will learn from tonight and get better!”

The Lady Indians dented the board a 25:15 in the first half with the score standing at 1-0 with the teams headed to the halftime break.

Second half play proved to be a defensive battle with both teams going scoreless giving the visitors a 1-0 win.
