One man entered a change of plea and was subsequently sentenced in Darke County Common Pleas Court on Thursday afternoon. Judge Jonathan P. Hein presided.
Cody C. Paul, 34, of Greenville, pleaded guilty to attempted possession of a fentanyl compound, a first-degree misdemeanor. As a part of the plea, the original indictment of possession of a fentanyl compound, a fifth-degree felony, was amended.
Paul was sentenced to 60 days in jail with a suspended sentence, and up to 60 months of community control sanctions.
