NTPA Tractor Pull a huge hit at Fair

Frist of back-to-back nights of NTPA tractor pulls draws large crowd to Great Darke County Fair

GREENVILLE – The National Tractor Pullers Association (NTPA) rolled into town Tuesday for two days of tractor pulling before large first day crowd of pulling at the 2021 Great Darke County Fair.

“A great night of pulling,” said DCTPA Hall of Famer Duane “Lum” Edwards.  “We had a heck-of-a-pull and our Darke County Pullers did a super job – they won a couple three classes. They won three classes and one class three of the top five was from Darke County.”

The Darke County Tractor Pullers Association (DCTPA) had the track in perfect condition while keeping the Tuesday night event moving quickly with the local DCTPA housekeeping the track following each pull.

“We’ll have another pull Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock, the Antiques and Farm Stocks and then a 7 o’clock Wednesday night we will have our six fast classes along with three other classes – one of them will be a Hot Semi then a Light-Pro Limited-Pro combo class and a Mini Rod class,” noted Edwards.

The very Patriotic NTPA and DCTPA will honor Veterans prior to the 7 p.m. Wednesday National Tractor Pullers Association pull on Veterans Day at the Great Darke County Fair.

Veterans Day we will do that show at 5:30 p.m.,” Edwards said. “We will tell all the pullers not to run any motors after 5:15 p.m. because we want total quiet out here, it’s a big event and we want to honor our Veterans.”
