Mississinawa Valley Football Season Preview 2021

UNION CITY – The Blackhawks were a young team last year starting 5 freshman and they will be looking to improve their 1-6 overall record and 1-5 league record in 2020

Stephen Trobridge is back at the controls to guide the team who won 6 games in 2019 and made the OHSAA State Playoffs.

You can Expect the Hawks to play a fast up tempo game utilizing the no huddle offense and mixing in an RPO type game.

“I feel the experience we gained last year, and our speed will be a big factors for us this year,” Trobridge said.

Look for the Blackhawks to run multiple defensive sets to keep teams off-balance.

“If we can be great at doing the little things I am confident will be competitive,” Trobridge stated.  He also added their team goal it to make into week 11.

Trobidge thinks the Western Ohio Athletic Conference is going to be very competitive … but sees Tri-Village as the favorite with Arcanum, Ansonia, Preble Shawnee and Tri-County North as teams to challenge this year.
