Yes, son Jamie and I have angels among us and that’s a fact in more ways than one.
I was told by my youngest sister one time that I needed to get a hobby, so collecting angels was one of them. Why? I don’t really know how it all began but I began to love them and the collection blossomed.
My collection has been placed into a curio cabinet that someone gifted me one year for Christmas or for my birthday…not really sure which event.
Anyway, I don’t know how many I have or what the particular angels represent, but one day I may delve into that project of finding out…when I get the time.
I am just hoping they’re helping to keep my home and family safe from evil.
So far, it is working so it can’t be all bad.
No wonder Jamie likes to sing that song, “Angels Among Us” by his favorite band, Alabama at karaoke. It is a special song for both of us, because I feel like Jamie is my “angel” here on earth.
The song has a lot of meaning and makes you think about your surroundings and how certain events have come about.
Here are a few excerpts from the song Angels Among Us:
Oh, I believe there are angels among us
Sent down to us from somewhere up above
They come to you and me in our darkest hours
To show us how to live, to teach us how to give
To guide us with the light of love
They wear so many faces, show up in the strangest places
To grace us with their mercy in our time of need.
Then, I found a post on Facebook that tells the signs from angels.
Those signs, according to the one who posted it, are as follows: Dimes; pennies; feathers; a song that meant something to you both; bells ringing; doves and butterflies; a familiar scent; books falling off of shelves opening to a page for a message; sudden temperature changes; repeating number sequences; sparkles of light seen out of the corner of your eye; orbs of white or colored light; flickering lights; and goosebumps, an overwhelming feeling of unconditional love.
Then it said, “The angels whisper through synchronicities to get your attention. They want you to know they are with you and always watching over you.”
I am truly a believer.
Jamie and I extend our condolences to the families and friends of Donald William “Lone Eagle” Downey, Donna Miller, Joanne Crick, Kevin Wampler and David N. Price.******
