Darke County Local, Levi Kolb, was enjoying a ride through a local parking lot when we spotted his eye-catching bicycle.

According to the Greenville 7th Grader, it took him and some buddies about four hours to create this amazing bike.

Even though this group of young engineers hit a few snags along the way, Levi said that he is excited to tackle bigger projects in the future; such as an electric trike.

The local boys attempted a weld on the project but it was unsuccessful, thus they tapped into their creativity and held the area together with a kickstand!

Meeting imaginative kids that also take initiative, like Levi and his friends, gives me hope for our future.

If you see Levi riding around town, make sure to throw him a wave and a smile; if he can hear you over his built-in boombox!

Even though the welding didn't work for them, Levi and friends were able to create a solution utilizing a kickstand.
