Lady Wave win big over Fairborn

Greenville takes advantage of inside and outside game to down Fairborn Lady Skyhawks

FAIRBORN – The Greenville Lady Wave traveled to Fairborn for a Saturday MVL matchup and brought one a 42-25 win over the Lady Skyhawks.

“We took care of the ball,” said Greenville coach, Rachael Kerns, “and used both an inside and outside game to attack Fairborn.”

Greenville highlighted its defensive play limiting the home team to 25-points while getting multiple Lady Wave in the scoring column.

Skylar Fletcher led Greenville and all scorers with a game high 15-points and Minaxi Pandey finished with 8 points.

“Lilly Hayes had a fantastic all-around game and had 7-points,” Coach Kerns noted.

Lady Wave freshman Megan Lind scored 5-points in the win, Avery Baumann added 4-points, Emalee Bowling 2-points and Josie Camacho accounted for 1-point.
