Lady Wave stay perfect with win over Tippecanoe

Lady Wave perfect at 11-0 with MVL victory over the Tippecanoe Lady Red Devils

GREENVILLE – The Greenville Lady Wave varsity golf team stayed perfect on the season with a 185-204 win over the visiting Tippecanoe Lady Red Devils at Turtle Creek Golf Course.

“It was a very rainy afternoon on the back nine,” said Lady Wave coach, Tracy Haines. “Even though it was very soggy Kenna played well with an even par 36; Leah also played well. Trinity started out well but struggled a bit in the middle of her round.”

Kenna Jenkinson paced the Lady Wave with a 36, Leah Fry shot a 44, Trinity Reis carded a 46 and Julia Herron finished with a 59. Lexi Slade had a 64 on the night.

The Tipp City girls were led by Kaitlyn Smith with a 49, Olivia Kreusch shot a 49, Annaleah Lambert had a 53 and Rose Ramsey a 54.  Also playing for Tipp City were Abigail Poston with a 57 and Rianna Brownlee with a 63.

With the MVL victory, the Lady Wave now stands at 11-0 overall and 8-0 in conference play.
