GREENVILLE – The Lady Wave varsity golf team hosted the Troy Lady Trojans at Greenville’s Turtle Creek Golf Course and won the match 204-223 to stay perfect on the season.
“We did not play well at all today,” said Greenville coach, Tracy Hanes. “I think the late start and not finishing until dark on Monday took a toll on us.”
“This was our last dual match for the year,” Coach Hanes noted. “We finished the year 12-0.”
Kenna Jenkinson led the Lady Wave with a 44, Trinity Reis had a 48; Leah Fry shot a 53 and Julia Herron carded a 59. Lexi Slade rounded out the Lady Wave with a 63.
The Troy Lady Trojans were led by Ashley Kloeker with a 52, Cate Rehmert shot a 56, Kami Lehman a 57 and Elise Hempker finished with a 58. Also playing for Troy were Astha Patel with a 61 and Emma Honeycutt with a 66.
