Lady Wave golfers defeat Piqua

Greenville Lady Wave 30 better than Piqua Lady Indians in MVL golf action

GREENVILLE – The Lady Wave golfers hosted the Piqua Lady Indians in conference match play Wednesday with the Greenville girls earning a 209-239 win.

The Wave were led by Kenna Jenkinson with a 40, Lexi Slade had a 47, Sofia Chrisman shot a 59 and Vera Cox had a 63.  Also playing for the Wave were Callee Moore with a 64, Leah Curtis carded a 64 and Taylor Trissel finished with a 69.

Piqua was led by Carsyn Meckstroth and Izzy Thoma both with a 59, Marin Funderburg shot a 60, and Aubree Carroll and Braylin Shaner both had 61’s.  Also playing for Piqua were Ivy Lee who had a 64 and Jenna Snyder shot a 65.

The Greenville Lady Wave stay undefeated on the season and stand 3-0 in the Miami Valley League with a 3-0 overall mark.
