Greenville Lady Wave earn MVL road win over Xenia Lady Buccaneers
XENIA – The Greenville Lady Wave varsity gold team traveled to WGC Golf Course in Xenia and came away with an impressive 214-240 MVL win over the Lady Buccaneers.
“This was our first match in over a week and also the first match since school started,” said Greenville coach, Tracy Haines. “The greens were very firm and were not holding, which made it difficult to know how short to hit the approach shots. The greens were also very fast.”
Lady Wave golfers were led by Kenna Jenkinson with a 42; Lexi Slade shot a 48; Sofia Chrisman had a 61 and Callee Moore carded a 63. Also playing for Greenville were Vera Cox with a 66; Taylor Trissell shot a 70 and Leah Curtis finished with a 71.
The Xenia Lady Buccaneers were led by Sami Klinc with a 52; Gracee Cassidy shot a 55; Katey Pulfer carded 64 and Rebecca Hutchins finished with a 69. Also playing for Xenia were Wren Gagliano with a 79 and Austin Poff had a 73.

The Lady Wave improve to 4-1 in conference play and 5-2 overall on the season.
