Lady Wave defeats Sidney golfers

Greenville Lady Wave get MVL win over visiting Sidney Lady Yellow Jackets golf team

GREENVILLE – The Greenville Lady Wave defeated the Sidney Lady Yellow Jackets 202-228 in Miami Valley League play at Turtle Creek Golf Course.

“The girls played well today, and we got the win,” said Greenville coach, Tracy Haines. “We still need to work on our putting and chipping, but we have time before MVL to get that fixed.”

The Lady Wave were led by Kenna Jenkinson with a 38, Lexi Slade shot a 47; Sofia Chrisman had a 56 and Vera Cox carded a 61.  Also playing for the Lady Wave were Callee Moore with a 63, Leah Curtis a 66 and Taylor Trissel finished with a 68.

Sidney was led by Madison Garber with a 50; Tatum Werntz shot a 55; Grace Steenrod had a 58 and Raegan and Roslyn Rotan each finished with a 65.

The Lady Wave improve to 8-2 overall and 5-1 in conference play.
