Greenville Lady Wave Kenna Jenkinson places well at Beavercreek

BEAVERCREEK – The Lady Wave varsity golf team made a Wednesday trip south to play in the Beavercreek Invitational.

“Beavercreek is a tough golf course to walk and to play,” said Greenville coach, Tracy Haines. “We will continue to work on our chipping and putting.”

The Wave were led by Kenna Jenkinson with a 76. Sofia Chrisman shot a personal best for 18 holes with a 125, Vera Cox had a 126 and Callee Moore carded a 145.

Greenville’s Jenkinson finished in fourth place overall.

“Kenna was the only player that had played the course before today,” Coach Haines noted. “This was good experience for the girls to get ready for the MVL and Sectional tournaments.”

Also playing for the Lady Wave were Taylor Trissel with a 158 and Leah Curtis with a 168.
