Greenville Lady Wave golf team perfect season stays intact with convincing win over Lady Pirates

GREENVILLE – The Lady Wave varsity golf team hosted the West Carrollton Lady Pirates at Turtle Creek Golf Course in Miami Valley League play and came away with an impressive 182-261 win to stay perfect on the 2021 season.

Kenna Jenkinson paced the Lady Wave and all scorers with a 38, Leah Fry shot a 43, Trinity Reis had a 45 and Lexi Slade carded a 56.  Rounding out the Lady Wave was Julia Herron with a 58 on the day.

“We typically have not played well on Monday’s so today made me happy,” said Greenville coach, Tracy Haines. “Leah Fry had personal best today with 43.”

West Carrollton was led by Bethane MVL y Scearce with a 55, Kylie Burr with a 66 and Kiersten Steele with a 72.

With the home victory Greenville moves to 9-0 overall and 6-0 in conference action.
