King wins August primary, results

GREENVILLE—Due to redistricting in the State of Ohio, the 84th congressional district, which includes a large portion of Darke and Mercer Counties has been redrawn into an open congressional district.

The candidates in the Republican primary for this seat were Aimee Morrow, Angie King and Jacob Larger. The candidate in the Democratic primary for this seat was Sophia Rodriguez.

The 84th district is currently represented by State Rep. Susan Manchester. Manchester is running for reelection in the newly drawn 86th House District, which covers Allen County and the northern part of Auglaize County.
