Kevin L. Wampler age 64, of Ansonia passed away at 7:10 am Sunday, July 10, 2022, at EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.
Kevin was born April 11, 1958, in Darke County to the late George J. & Neva M. (Utz) Wampler. Kevin is survived by his son, Clay B.D. Chapman of Big Lake, Alaska; siblings, Jeff Wampler of Ansonia, Lacinda J. (Wampler) & Brad Hiestand of Rossburg, Greg D. & Shirley Wampler of Ansonia and Rory L. Wampler of Ansonia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kevin was selfless, a showman, and a true friend. He was a man of his word and an all- around giver. His smile was like a bright light on the midway. He was one of the best operators in the state, a legend. His equipment was spotless and he took pride in everything that he did. Kevin was a life member of the Greater Ohio Showman’s Association, earning the Outstanding Achievement Award for Excellence in Food. He was also a longtime member of The Ohio Fair Manager’s Association.
