Injury Crash Rt 127

NEWS RELEASE

August 11, 2021 at approximately 3:54 p.m. Darke County Deputies along with Greenville Fire, Greenville Township Fire and Rescue responded to the intersection of U.S. Route 127 and Sebring Warner Road for a reported three vehicle injury crash.

Preliminary investigation revealed Stephanie Kirchner 67, of Greenville was driving a blue 2009 Chevy Impala westbound on Sebring Warner Road and was stopped at the intersection of U.S. Route 127.  She then drove westbound across the intersection and was struck by a blue 2017 Hyundai Sonata, driven by Tyler Glander 25, of Lewisburg, OH.  The Chevy Impala then stuck a gray 2016 Ford Explorer driven by Heidi Fisher 43, of Bradford who stopped at the stop sign facing eastbound on Sebring Warner Road.  Kirchner was transported to Wayne HealthCare for possible injuries, while the other drivers and passengers were uninjured in the crash.

Kirchner was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.
