ARCANUM—It was recently announced that Landon Haney of the Arcanum MVCTC FFA Chapter is a Finalist for the Ohio FFA State Star in Agribusiness.
Landon is one of just four individuals in Ohio that were named a finalist in this area. The Star State in Agribusiness is presented to FFA members who demonstrate outstanding agricultural skills and competencies through completion of supervised agricultural experience (SAE). Landon’s SAE is Haney’s Mowing and Landscaping where he is the owner and operator. Landon has grown his business immensely since it inception. He started by mowing a few lawns to today were he offers landscaping, seeding, sodding, drainage, hardscapes, snow removal and more. Landon’s business growth has allowed him to hire multiple employees and expand his offerings.
“It is a great privilege to be a Top 4 Finalist for State Star in Agribusiness,” Haney said. “Over the last four years, I’ve worked many long and hard hours to build what I have today. I can’t thank my friends, family and my advisor Mr. Pohlman enough for their work and dedication helping me grow a successful business.”
Landon will interview at the end of March and will be recognized on stage at the Ohio FFA State Convention.
