Greenville’s Family Dollar holds Grand Re-Opening

Family Dollar holds Grand Re-Opening at downtown Greenville location.

GREENVILLE – Dollar Tree, Inc. held its grand re-opening of its Family Dollar Store located at 300 Martin Street in Greenville.

“We had a complete remodel called the H2 conversion where we have a lot more dollar value merchandise, extended cooler section, coolers and freezers and a complete cleaning and remodel,” said Store Manager, Beth Baumgardner. “It’s a big day for Family Dollar.”

With more than 10,000 square feet of sopping area, the store held a ribbon cutting ceremony Saturday morning at the downtown Greenville location.”

“We’re thrilled to have updated our store here in Greenville and to have a lot more products and a lot more food items for our customers that come from near and far,” District Manager, Tom Jones stated.    “This is our new concept for the future. We are very proud to be a part of the Dollar Tree organization and we really think our customers are going to love the improvements here at our Greenville store.”

“Being right downtown is central,” Jones said of the advantage of the downtown location. “We have a lot of customers that don’t have any transportation, they are in walking distance only plus we are on the way to anywhere you are going in Greenville.”

“I have walked through the store now twice – it’s fantastic,” said Darke County Commissioner, Michael Stegall. “It looks like they have so much more room, like they have added on but it’s just better.”

“This really was needed for this area of town,” Stegall added. “There are people that can walk here now, it’s on everybody’s way back and forth. They have a lot good things in the store. The Dollar Wow stuff is fantastic so this is a great addition to Greenville and Darke County – I encourage everybody to come down and take a look.”
