Greenville High School soccer program to host alumni soccer matches
GREENVILLE – The Greenville varsity boys soccer team is taking advantage of “open field” and several alumni players in preparing for the 2022 OHSAA soccer program.
“A couple of the alumni guys are going to be playing college soccer here soon so they came out to help the team during open fields during the offseason and motivate the guys, teach them new skills, a lot of soccer lessons and work,” said GHS soccer coach, Marshall Combs. “Motivate the guys and get them prepared for the start of the season.”
“The start of the season is August 1st so we’re only about two and a half weeks away,” continued Combs. “The guys are looking strong, they are having fun out here and they are coming together as a team.”
