VANDALISM

Sept. 22, 5:05 p.m.: Officers responded to 308 South Broadway, Danny’s Place, in reference to a vandalism complaint.

Sept. 25, 5:21 p.m.: Police responded to the 200 block of Anderson Avenue on a reported vandalism to a vehicle.

DEATH

Sept. 23, 10:09 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Canterbury Drive in reference to a subject that had possibly passed away. Greenville Rescue arrived on scene and confirmed that the subject had no pulse, and that he was deceased. Coroner’s Investigator Joe Vanvickle arrived on scene and found nothing suspicious. Tribute funeral homes arrived on scene and the body was released to them.

WEAPON

Sept. 24, 10:15 p.m.: Officers responded to the 200 block of Glenwood Drive on a report of a subject with a knife. The subject left the scene prior to police arrival.

TRESPASS

September 26, 9:30 p.m.: Officers responded to the 400 block of Harrison Avenue on a reported trespassing complaint.

THEFT

Sept. 27, 12:14 a.m.: Officers met Eva Curtis at the Greenville PD where she made a stolen vehicle report. Curtis advised that she last saw her listed 1995 Chevy S10 on Saturday, Sept. 25, in the 1000 block of Wayne Avenue. She advised she left town and returned on Sunday, Sept. 26, when she found that her vehicle had been located in a corn field by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office. The DCSO released the vehicle to Curtis, who filled out a written statement.
