FOUND PROPERTY

Sept. 4, 7:03 a.m.: Officers were called to the Greenville Police Department on a report of a found wallet with two credit cards belonging to Steven Karnehm. The wallet was found near the post office. Karnehm was contacted and upon his arrival to the police department his wallet will be released.

Sept. 8, 11:28 a.m., Officers were dispatched to Spirit Medical in reference to a bicycle that was found on the North side of the building. The bicycle owner is unknown and it’s unknown who dropped it off at the property. It was transported to the Hart Ave. garage where it was secured as property.

Sept. 8, 11:50 a.m., Officers responded to Greenville Police Department on a report of a found wallet with one black MetaBank Debit card belonging to Sarah Brown. The wallet was found in the 100 block of North Broadway Tecumseh Point earlier in the afternoon. Officers were unable to make contact with Sarah Brown and placed the debit card and wallet into property.

WARRANT

Sept. 8, 7:30 p.m.: While on patrol, officers observed a male and female that they recognized as Michael and Sarah Brown standing in the backyard of a residence in the 400 block of East Third Street. Dispatch confirmed that Brown had an active Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Corrections warrant for a parole violation, on the original offense of burglary. He was transported to the Darke County Sheriff’s Jail and released to staff pending extradition to Franklin County.

THEFT

Sept. 11, 6:48 p.m.:  Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of North Chippewa Street in reference to a stolen bicycle complaint. There are currently no suspects and no leads for this case.
