TRESPASSING
Aug. 25, 10:24 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to 201 Tiffin St. on a trespassing complaint. Police cited both Mark Rodriguez and Kaylee Hines for Criminal Trespass and issued their copy of the citations. Both subjects were then released.
THEFT
Aug. 26, 7:35 p.m.: Police responded to Greenville k-8 School, on a report of a stolen vehicle. Tthe complainant, Izaak Clevenger, said he parked his 2012 White Honda Pilot in the parking lot of the school. After he left to walk the nature trails behind the school, Clevenger returned to where he had parked his vehicle and noticed that the listed vehicle was gone. He completed a witness statement referencing the incident. His vehicle was entered into LEADS/NCIC as stolen. Clevenger also filled out a victim rights request waiver form.
DRUGS
Aug. 27, 11:10 a.m.: Police responded to the intersection of Pine Street and Central Avenue on a report of an overdose. Officers performed CPR on the subject, Michael Savoy, until medics arrived to render aid. He was revived and transported to Wayne Healthcare for further medical aid. There were no drugs or drug paraphernalia located at the scene.
DISORDERLY
Aug. 31, 2:29 p.m.: Police were dispatched to Goodwill in reference to a suspicious person. Goodwill’s security guard advised he saw a person near the building on his security cameras rocking back and forth. Police made contact with Kurtis Brown whom was sitting on the ground near Goodwill. As police approached Brown, he stood up and approached leaving behind ten small Fireball Whiskey bottles. Brown admitted to drinking the three empty bottles. He was cited for open container of beer or intoxicating liquor in public. Brown was advised of his court date and time and was released from the scene.
