Aug. 11, 9:24 a.m.: Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Warren St. in reference to a suspicious suspect, identified as Timothy McClain, carrying a rifle. The suspect was later found to have walked into a residence that he was not allowed or invited to be in. The suspect was issued a citation for Criminal Trespass.


Aug. 12, 2:48 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the courthouse in reference to a subject, identified as James Pierce, that had just left with an active arrest warrant for possession of amphetamines through Randolph County Indiana. Pierce was contacted through a traffic stop. His identity was confirmed, he was then arrested and transported to the Darke County Jail.

Aug. 12, 11:46 p.m.: Police observed a gray 1985 Chevy Monte Carlo traveling north bound in the 1300 block of Sweitzer Street. Officers observed two different violations and a traffic stop was made on the listed vehicle. A passenger, identified as Madison Jenkins, in the vehicle was found to have an active warrant through Huber Heights for an original charge theft, with a bond of $10,000. She was transported to the county line and released to the Huber Heights Police Department.


Aug. 13, 4:20 p.m.: Police responded to Walmart, on a reported theft. The suspect, identified as Jamie Bass, was found to have attempted to stolen $141 in items. Officers issued her with a misdemeanor citation for theft and informed her of her court date.


Aug 12, 1:55 p.m.: Police dispatched to the alley in the 400 block of Euclid Avenue in reference to an abandoned bicycle. Police located a black Next mountain bike laying next to a shed in the alley. Through dispatch, the bike was confirmed to not been reported lost or stolen at this time. It was transported to the Greenville Impound garage where it was stored for safekeeping.

Aug. 13, 7:29 p.m.: Upon arrival, officers made contact with Joshua Lambert who advised that he just found a KTM vehicle key in the 500 block of Sweitzer along the street and sidewalk. Lambert explained he does not know the owner of the KTM vehicle key. The KTM vehicle key was packaged and placed into property.
