Greenville falls to Archbishop Alter

Green Wave drops OHSAA DII tournament game to state ranked and No. 1 seed Alter Knights

KETTERING – The Greenville Green Wave had the task of facing the state ranked No. 1 seed Kettering Archbishop Alter Knights in OHSAA DII boys basketball tournament action.

The Knights took the game 85-36 knocking down an impressive 15 treys on the night, 14 coming in the first 3-quarters.

Alter took the opening period 25-8 and pushed its lead to 55-13 at the break before closing out the night with the win to advance in tournament play.

Five seniors played their final game for the Green and White – No. 0 Alex Baumgardner, No. 1 Million Bryant, No. 4 Hayden Bush, No. #1 Oriol Ribera Garcia and No. 34 Nolan Curtis along with injured seniors, DJ Zimmer and Truman Nicholas.
