Greenville, Ohio August 25, 2021 The Greenville Business & Professional Women’s Club will kick off their 2021 – 2022 meeting year on Thursday, September 10th at A.R. Winery in Arcanum. The meeting will be hosted by the Legislation Committee with Melissa Barhorst, Chair and committee members, Jane Carrol, Kim Fisher, Diana Frazier and Angie DeGideo.

Kathleen Deland, Ohio Director at Duane Morris Government Strategies will discuss her professional career in government affairs to give true insight into the world of lobbying and will focus on her passion for politics at the local, state and federal level. Katie joined DMGS in 2007 and manages the Ohio office and operations. Her background has allowed for a varied expertise, but she specializes in higher education, public safety, economic development, and social service policies. Katie has been successful in advocating for community project funding, including money for a Multi-Use Facility at Arcanum High School and a Health Science Center at Sinclair Community College. Her policy successes are equally as valuable, with legislative corrections for a local economic development park, public safety language, and higher education policy.

Although the program begins at 7 pm, the club offers an optional dinner beginning at 6:30 pm for those who would like to attend and have made reservations for the meal. Those wishing to take advantage of the optional dinner may make reservations prior to noon, on Monday, September 6th by contacting Vicki Cost at $12 will provide a pizza bar and either 5 wine or 4 beer tastings.
