Greenville Boys Golf Team Defeats West Carrollton

Greenville earns big win over West Carrollton Pirates boys golf team

GREENVILLE – The Green Wave varsity boys golf team defeated the West Carrollton Pirates 179-258 played at Turtle Creek.

“This was our best round of the year,” said Greenville coach, Brian Stickel. “The guys are working hard at getting better and they know they can even play better. Their confidence is improving and that really helps.”

Ethan Sunsdahl was medalist with a 41. Mason Shuttleworth shot a 44 and both Bryce Blumenstock and Aidan Honeyman carded 47’s. Also playing was Carson Good with a 52 and Will Gettinger a 58.

With the win, Greenville improves to 3-5 in MVL action and 4-6 overall on the season.

Greenville travels to Meadowbrook Country Club to take on the Northmont Thunderbolts in a Thursday non-conference matchup.
