Greenville boys down Fairborn golf team

The Green Wave boys varsity golf team earns Friday MVL win over Skyhawks

GREENVILLE – The Greenville boys golf team defeated the Fairborn Skyhawks 200-254 in an OHSAA match played at Turtle Creek golf course.

“We played two freshman and a sophomore tonight to give them some varsity experience,” said Greenville coach, Brian Stickel. “Overall, they did okay. Few bad shots here and there, but there was also some good shots.”

Ethan Sunsdahl led the Green Wave to victory with a 41. Mason Shuttleworth carded a 51 and Aidan Honeyman and Drew Beisner shot 54’s to close out Greenville scoreing.

Also playing for the Greenville was Cooper Hunt and Spencer Archey. Both shot a 57 for the Green Wave.

Greenville stands at 1-1 in Miami Valley League play.
