GPD promotes Prickett to sergeant, hires patrol officer

GREENVILLE— The Greenville Police Department hired Matthew Ganiron as a patrol officer, and promoted Matthew Prickett to sergeant for the department.

Ganiron served in the U.S. Army for seven years and is currently in the Army Reserve/National Guard. He will attend Edison Community College’s Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy beginning in July 2022.

Officer Prickett has served with the Greenville Police Department since February 2018.

Ganiron and Prickett will be sworn in on Monday, June 27, at 11:30 a.m. in the City Council Chambers.
