GHS to host Second Annual Night of Champions

GREENVILLE – The Second Annual Greenville High School “Night of Champions” will be held January 21, 2022 before the varsity boys basketball game when the Green Wave host the Vandalia-Butler Aviators.

“The Night of Champions is a time we can reach out to our alumni who represented Greenville High School and Greenville City Schools well on a court or on a field,” said Greenville Athletic Director Aaron Shaffer. “It’s a great opportunity to bring those people back and recognize them in front of our people today.”

“It is such a good example for our young people and to see that others before them have been very successful,” Shaffer added. “It makes for a special night whenever you can bring some of our great teams from the past back and give them some of that recognition they deserve.”
