Franklin Monroe Jets fall to Cedarville

Franklin Monroe Jets drop non-conference matchup to tall Cedarville Indians team

PITSBURG – The Franklin Monroe Jets dropped a 46-35 non-conference matchup to a tall visiting Cedarville Indians team that includes 6’9″ Hayden Hanson.

Cedarville took a 12-8 lead after one quarter of play with the Jets getting 2-point baskets from Ky Cool, Karson Wright, Jayce Byers and Ethan Garber.

The Indians used a 12-9 second quarter sending the game to the halftime break with a 24-17 advantage. Gabe Sargent paced FM with 5 second quarter points including a 3-pointer and Cool and Garber each added a basket for the Jets.

Period No. 3 went to Cedarville 12-9 with Wright knocking down a Jets triple and Cool, Sargent and Garber each adding a Franklin Monroe bucket.

The visiting Indians earned a 10-9 fourth quarter advantage to nail down an 11-point road win.

Byers accounted for 5 FM fourth quarter points including a 3-pointer, Cool and Garber each added a basket.
