Greenville Farm Power of the Past

July 7 - July 10

Greenville Farm Power of The Past will host its 23rd Reunion from Thursday, July 7, to Sunday, July 10, at the Darke County Fairgrounds.

This year’s reunion will be hosted by the Massey Harris Ferguson Club of Ohio State Show.

The event will feature Massey-Harris, Massey-Ferguson, Ferguson, Ford, and Fordson tractors and equipment, Lawn & Garden Tractors Fairbanks Morse and side-shaft gas engines.

Daily Admission is $5 per person, admission for ages 12 and under is free. Membership for the weekend is $10. Golf Carts and Gators carry a $10 fee, and must be driven by a licensed driver. Camping is $35 for the week for exhibitors, and $35 a day for non-exhibitors.

In addition to engines, the event will feature a plethora of special events. From kids events like a coin scramble and kiddie tractor pull, to ladies events, such as quilting and floral “make and take” project, there’s no shortage of events for everyone in the family. New events for children in 2022 are story hour and craft time, which will be held everyday. Kids must be accompanied by an adult or older teen.

Other events held include a flea market, square dancing, horse pull, various tractor pulls, raffle drawing and a parade.

The 18th annual Car Show will close out the reunion on Sunday, at 10 a.m., with indoor and outdoor display areas. Registration for the event is $5.

For those camping all weekend, there will be a church service by Jim Meredith and The Faithful Sons on Sunday.

The event will feature a wide variety of food vendors, parking areas for trucks and trailers,  a shuttle service from parking areas to the display area, handicap parking on paved area near display area and restrooms throughout the grounds.

Greenville Farm Power of the Past was organized in 1998, to preserve and celebrate the historical and mechanical aspects of earlier farming in which implements, machinery and equipment were propelled or powered by animals, steam, or internal combustion engines.
