DCN’s Blosser to speak at Veterans, first responders event in city park

GREENVILLE—Publisher at Darke County Now, Gaylen Blosser is featured as a guest speaker at Saturday’s Red White and Blue event in honor of Veterans and first responders.

Blosser, Veteran and President of Darke County Veteran Services, will speak briefly at the event, in addition to Darke County Sheriff Mark Whittaker and Darke County Commissioner Matt Aultman.

The all-day event will be held in the Greenville City Park, and feature a food truck rally from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Food trucks such as Nacho Pig, Badges BBQ, Crème De La Crème and Buckeye Burgers will be in attendance.

Attendees will get a close up views of a City of Greenville Fire Truck, police car and ambulance. The Darke County K9 Unit will start a presentation at 5 p.m.

There will be live performances from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Performers will include Mora & the Boys at 6:30 p.m., as well as Shannon Clark and The Sugar at 7:30 p.m.

The Ansonia American Legion Post 353 will present the colors and Mora Menzie, sophomore at Arcanum High School, will sing the National Anthem. Eric Fee, owner of Tribute Funeral Homes, will lead the night as MC.
