Dayton Air Show draws large crowd

More than 80,000 attend CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show

DAYTON – A crowd of over 80,000 were entertained over the July 30-31 weekend at the CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show as many amazing aerial acts took to the sky.

The performers included the US Army Golden Knights parachute team, US Air Force F-15 demonstration, Kent Pietsch and his aerial comedy, Vampire Airshows, AH-64 and AH-1 helicopter demonstration, Careflight helicopter from right here in Dayton, Tora! Tora! Tora! flight, Kevin Coleman’s amazing flying skills, US Air Force F-16 Viper demonstration, CH-53E helicopter, US Air Force C-17, and the US Navy Blue Angels capped off the show with a thrilling show in the first appearance of their new F-18 Super Hornet aircraft.
