GREENVILLE— The Darke County Employee Choir performed on Tuesday afternoon on the courthouse steps during Make Music Darke County.
Made up of county employees from nearly every Darke County office, the choir performed patriotic songs such as the Star Spangled Banner, America the Beautiful, God Bless the USA and more.
Make Music Darke County is a day of music-making in public spaces all throughout Darke County, all completely free for musicians and audiences alike. The event is inspired by France’s national musical holiday “Fete de la Musique” that began in 1982, and takes place on the Summer Solstice in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries.
