Sealed bids for drainage updates and waterway construction at the Darke County Airport is being accepted by the Darke County Commissioners, 520 S. Broadway, Greenville, Ohio 45331, until 1:00 p.m., the 15th day of December 2021. The bids will be publicly opened, read and tabulated during regular session of the same day beginning at 1:30 p.m. The Darke County Airport is located at 9724 U.S. Rt. 121, Versailles, Ohio 45380 and the project will be located at the western farm field of the property.
Copies of the bid specifications may be obtained by prospective bidders by visiting the Darke County Soil & Water office, 1117 Southtowne Ct, Greenville, OH 45331 during business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (excluding holidays) or by emailing a request to Elizabeth.email@example.com.
Site visits may be scheduled during business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (excluding holidays), by contacting our Airport Manager Scott Naas at 937-467-9360 or by emailing a request to SNAAS@CO.DARKE.OH.US.
All Questions must include a Company Name, Contact Name, and Email Address. Questions will only be accepted through email, at firstname.lastname@example.org, and the responses will be dispersed to all requesters only through the email provided.
Bids shall be filed in a sealed envelope and externally marked: “BID FOR AIRPORT TILE & WATERWAY”.
Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Darke County as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wages & Hour Administration.
All payments will be processed through the Darke County Auditor’s office. Contractors need to expect payment for services to take between 30-45 days. No exceptions will be made and all bidders must accept this stipulation if awarded the job.
The Darke County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in the bid process, and to accept any bid deemed the most favorable to the Darke County Commissioners.
