Commissioners talk Job & Family Services

GREENVILLE— The Darke County Board of Commissioners met on Thursday afternoon to discuss Job & Family Services. Commissioners Matt Aultman, Mike Stegall and Larry Holmes were present.

The board approved a Memorandum of Agreements for access to federal tax information for eight Darke County Job & Family Services (JFS) employees. The agreement is entered into and by the Darke County Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSEA) of Job & Family Services.

JFS Director Carla Allen explained to the board that employees that are in the CSEA and have access to the information do not need to sign the agreement, but JFS employees that are not in the CSEA, and still have access to federal tax information are required to sign the agreement to ensure they follow rules and regulations when accessing the information.

The agreement is effective on April 1, 2022 and will remain in effect until March 31, 2024. The agreement period shall not exceed five years, and may be renewed upon mutual agreement of the parties.
