Commissioners talk airport, road sign grant

GREENVILLE— The Darke County Board of Commissioners met on Wednesday afternoon to discuss the Darke County Airport and a road sign grant. Commissioners Matt Aultman, Mike Stegall and Larry Holmes were all present.

The board approved Resolution, (R-8-2022), to advance $40,270.50 to cover Great Lakes Construction application #10 for the parallel taxiway and west apron project at the Darke County Airport. The funds will advance back once revenue is received from the 2020 Federal Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Program (FAA AIP) Grant.

The board approved Resolution, (R-10-2022), to advance $31,000 to pay MD Solutions bill for road signs throughout the county. ” The funds will advance back once revenue is received from the 2022 Sign Grant.

Next, the board approved Resolution, (R-11-2022), to transfer $7,750 for the engineer’s portion of 2022 Sign Upgrade Grant.
