GREENVILLE – Bronx Seelster highlighted the field at the 2021 Great Darke County Fair winning the 2021 Gene Riegle Memorial in a time of 1:53 and take home the $35,000 winner’s check.
“Power filled race as always,” said Tim Harless. “We’re excited to see them go that time of mile on a rain-beaten track.”
Heavy rains moved through the area moving the evening’s 15-race starting time back 30-minutes concluding with the prestigious Gene Riegle Memorial.
Locally owned One Corona To Go, Platinum Racing Stables finished a strong third in the evening’s featured race.
“A bunch of tough horses,” Harless noted of the Gene Riegle Memorial. “Platinum Racings; One Coronas To Go, locally owned and we all pull for our friends.”
