Bradford falls in District Finals to Fort Loramie

Lady Railroaders season ends with District Runner-Up trophy

TROY – The Bradford Lady Railroaders season came to an end falling to the perineal powerhouse Fort Loramie Lady Redskins in the OHSAA DIV district championship game 60-27.

Loramie took the opening quarter 14-0 before the Lady Roaders battled back in the second with the Lady Redskins taking the second period 12-10 sending the game to the break with Bradford trailing 26-10.

Austy Miller led the Lady Railroaders with 5 second quarter points, Abby Fike canned a 3-pointer and Rylee Canan added a bucket.

Bradford continued to play well making the Lady Redskins earn a 15-11 third quarter with Canan hitting a trey and a basket for 5 points, Miller going 4-4 at the line and Isabella Hamilton tossing in a basket for a 41-21 Fort Loramie advantage with one period to play.

The Lady Redskins’ deep bench and size came into play in the fourth with Loramie taking the final period 19-6 to move on in tournament play.
