BPW kicks off year with first meeting

GREENVILLE– The Greenville Business & Professional Women’s Club will kick off their 2022 to 23 meeting year on Thursday, September 8th at True Life Church, (5990 St Rt 36, Greenville) with optional dinner at 6:30 pm/ program at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be hosted by the Legislation Committee with Melissa Barhorst, Chair and committee members, Christy Bugher, Kim Fisher, Tania Menger, and Linda Kendig.

Angie King, Republican nominee for Ohio’s 84th House District will speak about what got her into politics. Angie is a small business owner, who grew up the oldest of five children in a farming family. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and a Masters of Business Administration both from Wright State University. Angie has a strong record of public and community service. She previously served as a Celina City Council member for 11 years.

Currently, she serves as Mercer County Recorder, a position she’s held for the past 9 years. Angie is a licensed Realtor and has been involved in buying, selling, and managing real estate for more than 25 years. She is a former board member of the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, Ohio Housing Trust Fund Advisory Committee and is a current board member for West Ohio Community Action Partnership. Angie is a wife, mother and grandmother of 3.

Optional dinner which includes BBQ by Heavy Smokers starts at 6:30 for a cost of $15 – Program starts at 7:00 pm.
