Bowling pleads guilty to failure to comply, sentenced to 18 mos

One person entered a change of plea in Darke County Common Pleas Court on Tuesday morning. Judge Jonathan P. Hein presided.

Gregory J. Bowling, 39, of Greenville, pleaded guilty via Zoom call from the Darke County Jail to one count of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony.

He was sentenced to 18 months incarceration with the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections, with 38 days credit and three years of optional post-release control once released. He will additionally face a license suspension of three years.
