Beyond the Rainbow Invites Community to Darke County Drag Show October 9th

Beyond the Rainbow is excited to announce pre-registration tickets for the Darke County Drag Show are now on sale.

The Darke County Drag Show will be held at 311 South Broadway on Saturday, October 9th from 5:00-11:30pm in downtown Greenville, OH.

Pre-registration tickets are just $5.00 and can be purchased online here.

Tickets are $7.00 at the door.

All proceeds go to benefit Beyond the Rainbow and Darke County Pride 2022.

“We’re excited to host this culturally important and fun event in downtown Greenville,” says Scott Snyder, Beyond the Rainbow’s Coordinator. “It’s a great opportunity to enjoy an evening of entertainment and community, while supporting a good cause.”

The Darke County Drag Show will officially kick off from 8:30-11:30p, and will feature headliners Tina Hightower, LaMonica Holiday and Pineapple E. Valentino.

“We’re so thrilled to have several of Ohio’s outstanding Drag Queens join us right here in Darke County,” says Snyder. “It’s an honor to host them at the Center for Universal Artisans and Humanities in Greenville.”

Prior to the Drag Show, the stage will be dedicated to Open Mic and Karaoke for any community member who wants to show off their talents. Open Mic and Karaoke are from 5:00-8:00p, and the community is invited to be on stage or cheer on the entertainers.

“We know there’s a ton of talent right here in Darke County, too, and we want to provide a space for people to show off their skills or just have fun with a supportive and community-minded audience,” says Snyder.

An intermission will be held from 8:00-8:30p for people who want to get food and drinks downtown.

The Center for Universal Artisans and Humanities is a DORA location, and adults 21+ with a valid ID may bring a DORA approved cup with them if desired.
